New Discussion Forum!

Our calling card so far is our personalized matchmaking service (with the questionnaire below) - but if you'd like to find a date yourself, you can post some information about you and what you're looking for here (and get responses):

P.S. We'll be in the Maroon soon, explaining what we do and hopefully seeming more legitimate. :)
In the mean time, for any questions or comments, drop us a line at uchicagolove@gmail.com.

And in the mean time, what is it that we do? We want to help people find someone who's right for them - a great date which might later turn into a great relationship. Not that we have anything against hooking up (or UC Hookups, who started a bit of a poster war with us), but we want to bring romance back on this campus - making it a bit easier for people who'd rather have a dinner date than a hookup to find someone - someone great. We're run by fellow students, not looking for any money, and completely confidential. We're open to undergrads, grad students, and recent alums.
So how does it work? You tell us a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in the questionnaire below, and once we find several matches from the rest of our responses, we'll let you know and meet with you for a bit - to talk about what you're looking for and a few possible matches we've found. Then we'll contact both of you and set up a place for a date. After that - we'd love to know how it went, especially if it was great - but if it didn't work out, we'll set you up again.
We realize you might not have a lot of faith in us just yet, since we're just starting out, and there's some chance you might know one of us. If you have any ideas on how to improve, any questions or comments, think we're really sketchy or awesome, or if you'd like to join our team (we especially need people who rock at web design) - we'd love to hear from you.
One last thing -  if you decide to troll us/Rick Roll us and send us a fake response, please do make it really funny. The last one we got was kind of funny, but some parts were better than others. We'll post some choice bits soon, having to do with hair tonic and intergalactic love.
